The VS-808YC is a high quality 19" 2RU matrix switcher for s-Video (Y/C) on 4p connectors and balanced audio on detachable terminal block connectors. It is a true matrix, allowing the user to route any input to any or all outputs simultaneously. Excellent video and audio performance ensures that it remains transparent in almost any video/audio application. Video switching takes place during the vertical interval period to ensure glitch-free switching when using synchronized video sources. Both audio-follow-video and audio breakaway modes are provided. 8 bright 7-segment displays on the front-panel show the current status of the unit. The VS-808YC may also be controlled via an IR remote controller (provided), RS-485 and RS-232, and up to 16 setups can be saved in non-volatile memory in the machine. The TAKE button allows the user to place multiple switches in a queue, and then activate them with one touch of this button. Kramer's K-Router control software is included for Windows-based PC control, and the front-panel may be locked to avoid unwanted tampering with the unit. It is dependable, rugged, and fits into 2 vertical spaces in a standard 19" rack.
